1950s with Dave Brubeck, Lee Konitz, Miles Davies and Stan
Getz. Orginated from the West Coast Jazz we are playing Modal
Jazz of the mid 1950s and the African-American backlash "Hard
bop". In addition Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and Fusion. Likewise contemporary
forms like Free Jazz of Cecil Taylor, John Coltrane or Ornette
Coleman and Free Improvisation of Barry Romberg.
